All our appointments begin with a conversation about where you notice that your hearing health has changed and how it affects you. We will examine the outer ear and the general health of your ear canals, ensuring that excessive wax does not cause hearing loss.
A Hearing Test is completed with headphones, and once completed, we will explain the hearing test results to you.
The next steps involve discussing which hearing aids will suit you and a live demonstration. If you choose hearing aids during the appointment that meet your needs and the cost is within your budget, our audiologist will order the devices.
If you prefer to have a written quote emailed to you so you can consider your options, just let us know. We do not take deposits and do not expect you to pay for your hearing aids until you have received them and are satisfied.
Though we cannot provide free NHS hearing aids, we can offer smaller hearing aids with the latest technology from £1495.
Sound Hearing offers two levels of service. Our standard service includes all aftercare visits for the life of the hearing aids. Standard Service is often popular with our older customers, whose general health has reduced their ability to service and maintain their hearing devices.
We can also provide a Service LITE option at a lower cost for customers who can maintain their hearing aids and therefore do not need regular visits.
