Widex Moment Technology
Widex Moment PureSound technology reduces the time it takes for a hearing aid to process sound. Hearing-aid wearers often report a tinny or distorted sound when listening through their aids. This is due to the time difference between a direct sound signal hitting the eardrum and the processed sound from the hearing aid. Widex PureSound has zero processing delay. Widex research concludes the benefit of zero processing delay is a natural and distortion-free sound.
Widex TruAcoustics is a new technology that ensures the hearing aid produces the correct amount of gain at the eardrum. TruAcoustics technology results in an accurately fitting prescription, a natural sound, and improved speech recognition for the hearing aid user.
The Widex Moment range is designed to keep learning and improving from the wearers’ experiences and those of other users worldwide. Widex’s E-Platform utilises machine learning. The Widex Moment App includes SoundSense Learn, which collects information on the user’s preferences and anonymous data from other users and then suggests new settings.
Fluid Sound Analyser technology accurately analyses the listening environment and reliably selects the correct listening settings, allowing the Fluid Sound Controller to adjust settings for optimal hearing.
Widex Moment has made iPhone (MFi) technology built in, meaning you can take calls or stream music directly from an iPhone. The device is also Android-ready and will work with the latest Android software version.
Widex Moment APP
The Widex Moment App allows the user to:
- With a tap, you can change the program, adjust volume and mute/unmute your hearing aids directly from the Home screen.
- Pick what you want to hear – Use the Directional focus program to focus on the sounds you want to hear and less on the sounds you don’t.
- Choose how you want to hear – Adjust individual programs’ bass, middle and treble so your hearing aids sound just how you want them to.
- Use AI to create your sound – Get creative and teach your hearing aids how you want to hear using our artificial intelligence (AI) technology in SoundSense Learn.
- Make your programs -You never have to worry about “getting things wrong”. Save sound changes as a new program and give it a name.
- Get instant sound recommendations -Widex will offer recommendations to optimise your sound based on how users worldwide have used their hearing aids.
- Stream directly to your hearing aids – Hear phone calls, music, and everything else from your phone that is now in your hearing aids.
