Description
Unitron are a large hearing aid manufacturer based in Canada. Unitron are part of the Swiss based Sonova Group which includes Phonak.
The Unitron Tempus range superseded the North platform.
Unitron developed a new Bluetooth protocol for the Tempus range designed to enable some Tempus models to connect to any Bluetooth device, meaning nearly all phones, tablets and PC.
If you are looking to replace a lost Unitron Tempus, we would recommend you try and get an upgrade to the new Discover range. Discover streams to both hearing aids whereas Tempus only streams to one.
SoundCore uses SoundNav to identify the and classify the listening environment. SpeechPro, Sound Conductor and Spatial Awareness allow for maximum speech understanding in challenging listening environments.
The Tempus range has uses Flex:Trial technology. A user can trial entry level technology and if they feel it does not meet their needs (in noise for example) they can Flex:Upgrade the hearing devices. The upgrade is a software update, new hearing aids do not need to be ordered.
Tempus hearing aids can be controlled by the Remote Plus app from your smartphone.

Our website outlines every product available on the market from the main hearing aid manufacturers. We provide detailed descriptions of each hearing aid and its features allowing you to compare hearing aids from each range.
Unlike many high street providers, we are not owned (partially or wholly) by a particular manufacturer, which is why we can offer you the choice of hundreds of hearing aids.
To help you make the right choice, feel free to contact us for advice and to answer any questions you may have. An audiologist can also come to your home free of charge in order to assess your hearing and your listening needs.
