Description
Phonak Marvel Bolero Includes a 5-year Warranty and Charger.
Phonak is one the largest hearing aid manufacturers in the world. They are based in Switzerland and are part of the Sonova Group, which includes Unitron.
The Phonak Marvel Bolero (Bolero M) was released in 2020. Marvel is the name of the hearing aid platform operating; Bolero is the name Phonak uses for behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aids.
Phonak Marvel Bolero Technology
Phonak developed a new Bluetooth protocol for Marvel designed to enable Marvel hearing aids to connect to any Bluetooth device, meaning nearly all phones, tablets and PC’s.
A Rechargeable Bolero M is available with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery which only takes two hours of charging to get a full day’s use. The devices come with a mini charger included. A charging case with a power bank can be purchased separately.
Marvel also allows for true hands-free use of a mobile phone; keep your phone in your pocket and answer your calls by pressing a button on the hearing aid.
Phonak Marvel runs on the Sword 3.0 chip with 42 million transistors.
The chip runs the new AutoSense 3.0 software. AutoSense constantly scans the listening environment and fine-tunes the audio with up to 200 adjustments for optimised listening.
Improved Binaural VoiceStream allows real-time stereo streaming between the hearing aids, improving speech understanding in challenging listening situations.
The Phonak Marvel Remote app allows users to make multiple adjustments to the hearing aids.
Phonak Marvel allows for remote hearing care. This means you can have a face-to-face video appointment with an audiologist who can then adjust the hearing aids remotely via the Internet.
Phonak has also released a new app called Speech to Text. This app can transcribe speech to text so the user can read what is being said in real-time.
Roger Direct Compatible Technology is built into Marvel. This means Marvel hearing aids can communicate directly with Roger‚ wireless microphones. Roger Microphones bridge the gap in hearing ability when background noise is present and where there is a distance from a speaker (more than 2m).
