Signia Charge&Go Motion IX Chargers

Due to the difference in size of the hearing aids,  each Motion IX model has its own desktop charger.

This is included in the price of the hearing aids.

The desktop chargers have a flashing light to indicate that they are correctly positioned and charging. They use a USB-C cable.

Motion Charge and Go Motion IX hearing aids are also available with a Dry & Clean charger.

Dry and Clean chargers not only charge the hearing aids but also provide drying and UVC sanitising technology to keep them in peak condition.

The UVC cleaning starts automatically and takes just 15 minutes. Three LEDs per hearing aid indicate their charging status, and an additional LED indicates the cleaning status.

FAQ

Will Signia Motion IX hearing aids work with my phone?

Yes, Signia Motion will work with most mobile phones. However, this needs to be broken down into two parts. The Signia app can be loaded and used on most iOS devices (version 11.0 and higher) and Android mobile phones (Version 6.0 and higher).

To stream audio directly for a hands-free phone call from your device to your hearing aids, you will require a LE audio Bluetooth connection.

Apple devices: MFi (Made for iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch) hearing aids connect directly to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod.

Android devices require the ASHA (Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids) standard.

For a complete list of compatible Apple phones and Android devices that offer ASHA, please click here.

How do I know my Signia Motion hearing aid is charging?

The Signia charger displays a flashing green light to indicate that it is correctly in place and charging. A solid green light indicates charging is complete.

Do I need a hearing test before buying Motion IX hearing aids?

Yes, you must receive a hearing test and consultation with a hearing care professional before purchasing Signia Motion IX hearing aids.

Motion IX hearing aids are fitted to a prescription calculated from your hearing test results. Sound Hearing recommends that your hearing test and hearing aid fitting be completed in person, rather than remotely via the internet.

Can I buy one hearing aid?

Yes, you can buy one hearing aid. Usually, people have hearing loss in both ears and require two hearing aids.

Are Signia Motion IX Rechargeable Hearing Aids?

Yes, all Signia Motion IX hearing Aids are Rechargeable. They use a built-in Lithium-Ion Battery.

What does the LED light on the Signia Motion IX BTE Hearing Aid indicate?

The LED light is a helpful visual confirmation that the Motion IX hearing aid is turning on or off.

Motion IX hearing aids will turn off automatically once placed in the charger. They also turn on automatically once removed from the charger. A brief solid green light shows that the hearing aid is powering on.

If you turn the hearing aid off manually by pushing the lower button on the hearing aid for 5 seconds, you will see a brief flashing green light that indicates that the hearing aid is powering off.
