Starkey SoundLens
The Starkey SoundLens Hearing Aids was released in the UK in 2017 and succeeded the Livio AI range of hearing aids.
Founded in 1967, Starkey is America’s largest hearing aid manufacturer. Starkey has a worldwide presence, and their hearing aid factory in the UK is based in Stockport. Starkey has established a Hearing Foundation where their volunteers have fitted over 1 million hearing aids to those in need across the globe.
The SoundLens iQ is a tiny hearing aid deep inside your ear canal.
Despite its small size SoundLens (iQ i2400 only) can communicate with Starkey‚ accessories such as the Surf Link Media 2 (TV streamer), SurfLink mobile 2 and SurfLink Remote Control 2.
Running the synergy platform, SoundLens hearing aids use the Acuity Landscape Analyser to detect and adjust the hearing aids to the specific listening environment. Active Immersion technology prioritises speech from any direction, and noise control reduces unwanted noise to maintain a comfortable listening environment.
The hearing aids have a dedicated adjustable music compressor for an enhanced and enjoyable music-listening experience.
Starkey has released SoundLens IQ in 6 technology levels, i2400, 2400, 2000, 1600, 1200 and 1000. Full features and a comparison can be found on our product pages.
