New Technology
Signia Insio IIC XI uses Augmented Focus™ to offer Signia’s best speech clarity in background noise. Augmented Focus™ technology uses two dedicated processors working in parallel. One processes the Focus speech sounds Sounds with an emphasis on clarity. The other processor contains all sounds outside speech. These surrounding sounds are processed so they are audible while not interfering with the clarity of the focus speech sound.
e2e Wireless 4.0 – improved communication and data transfer between the hearing aids.
Binaural OneMic Directionality 2.0 – Microphones from each hearing aid work together, preferentially amplifying speech from the front to support hearing in noisy environments.
Own Voice Processing (OVP): OVP processes the wearer’s voice independently from all other sounds. It helps the user’s voice sound quite enough.
Signia’s Integrated Xperience harnesses the power of Augmented Focus technology to improve how we hear in noisy environments. This advanced system separates speech from background noise, enhancing the speech while suppressing the background noise. Using multi-focus beam technology, Signia Insio hearing Aids can track the wearer’s head movements, and the shifting positions of speakers around them to signal from the speaker is not reduced. Here’s how it works in three simple steps:
Analyse – Every second, Signia Styletto IX hearing aids examine 192,000 pieces of data to identify who is speaking.
Augment – It then fine-tunes the sound, focusing and following each speaker’s voice while minimising background noise.
Adapt – Using Signia’s unique Multi-Stream Architecture, which updates 1,000 times per second, blends sounds from different sources, adapting to real-time conversation changes.
The RealTime Conversation Enhancement technology, part of the Signia Integrated Xperience, improves group conversations in loud places. It uses a new system to analyse the conversation, recognise who is speaking, and enhance speech clarity, adjusting quickly to any changes. A study found this technology significantly helps people understand speech better. In a simulated group conversation, 95% of users experienced improved performance with this technology.
